Smitten is getting sassy this week… The lovely ladies of Boudoir Divas spent some time telling us more about what they do and why they love it. Now, who couldn’t be smitten with that?

What is your favorite part of the industry?

“Making women feel drop dead gorgeous. We absolutely love seeing their reactions when we show them their photos for the first time!”

If you weren’t in the event industry, what would you be doing?

“Hmmmm….. tough one. I would probably be a teacher or work at a ranch. I love kids and animals. In that order of course.”

Where do you draw your inspiration? Are their specific resources?

“W Magazine is probably our biggest source of inspiration. We also love traveling, that seems to spark our creativity like nothing else. We are pretty addicted to going to Paris. Our next boudoir photography workshop will be held in a villa in Jamaica and we are going to mesh those two influences. Couture meets Sport Illustrated!”

What is one piece of advice you would give a bride?

“First we would say just knowing that things aren’t going to be perfect on the big day, but it is more about embracing this celebration by having fun with friends and family and letting the little things slide. Next, we might be biased, but a super sexy groom’s gift!!! Imagine how excited he would be if he opened an album with sexy, classy, gorgeous photos of you just hours before he says “I do!”

What are some of the trends you see for 2010 and 2011?

“We are crazy about vintage couture details! Maybe broaches in the hair, or a vintage garter, or if it’s a winter wedding swap out the bouquet for a vintage muff (hand warmer). I love watching old Marilyn Monroe movies for ideas.”
